AREA OF WORK AND APPROACH
I am a trauma-informed and queer affirmative therapist providing therapy services online. I believe in creating a therapeutic space that invites agency in navigating one's concerns and moving towards growth and wellness. I work primarily with young adults for concerns such as emotional difficulties, anxiety, burnout and work-related concerns, grief, trauma, abuse, relationship-related concerns, etc. I work with populations from diverse backgrounds and identities. My approach is trauma-informed, somatic and queer affirmative with a feminist and intersectional lens. I’m aware of the role that social structures can play in shaping our understanding of self and work towards deconstructing these systems in therapy. In addition, I value the understanding of our body’s response patterns. I follow a client-centered model, focusing on what the client brings into the therapy session and borrow from approaches such as Narrative Therapy, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, Internal Family Systems and Mindfulness
