The mental health space though rewarding and satisfying in many ways can also get isolating, especially when trying to create a place for oneself. ‘Take Space’ aims at bridging this gap by creating a supportive platform where mental health professionals take space for their experiences and extend the much needed support.

Open for freshers, early professionals and seasoned therapists
When does it happen?
Frequency: Weekly (Open Group)
Duration: 1 hour
Every Thursday, 7pm - 8pm

Fee: 450/- INR per person
Kindly Note: This is not a supervision session rather a community space for therapists establishing themselves in their professional journey.

GRIEF & LOSS IN THERAPY SPACE
Grief and loss is not just something therapists explore in sessions with their clients, but they too experience different forms of loss with regard to the therapy spaces they hold for others. Built on forming authentic relationships, therapists may often carry grief in form of losing clients to death, sudden terminations, difficult therapeutic ruptures & holding vicarious/ shared grief along with the clients. We are here to open space for acknowledging this less explored aspect of being in this profession and extend support to fellow therapists.

DOCUMENTATION & RECORD KEEPING
Therapists encounter various challenges in documentation and record-keeping, including time constraints amidst sessions, the imperative of maintaining privacy and confidentiality, and the complexity of content discussed during therapy sessions. Legal and ethical considerations, along with the integration of technology, add further layers of complexity. Ensuring consistency and standardization across documentation practices, facilitating effective communication can be challenging. We open this space for therapists to share their concerns with the same and explore how it is an aspect of the profession that no one prepares us for.
